LEVA (VERTICAL RECIPROCATING CONVEYOR)

Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors are a type of material handling equipment used for the transportation of material in a multi-storey scenario with applications ranging from the E-commerce, warehousing, automobile to the food and pharmaceutical industries. Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors are used for transportation of materials only.

Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors provide fast, efficient, convenient and safe access to mezzanines, balconies, storage racks and other areas within multi-level buildings. They can be installed either in the interior of the building or in the exterior.

Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors have versatility of entry and exit patterns. Same side entry-exits, opposite side entry-exits or 90 degree entry-exit patterns can be implemented with ease as per the requirements of the customer.

Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors consist of a outer protective tubular steel structure with interlocked access doors, load bearing beams, a tubular steel carriage for carrying cargo, electro-mechanical drive assembly with lifting apparatus and the heart of the equipment which is the control and safety systems.

LEVA Duo

LEVA Duo Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors consist of a tubular steel structure with 2 load bearing beams for support and are designed for loads up to 2000kgs.

This VRC can be used for same side entry-exit, opposite side entry-exit or cantilevered carriage options. The payload is transported on a carriage by means of mechanical roller chains, driven by a electro-mechanical drive coupled with a gearbox.

With standard in-built systems such as mechanical interlocks for access doors and advanced safety-cam systems which are integral with the VRC operation, a highly safe and reliable operation is achieved.

With a simple and sturdy construction, the LEVA Duo VRC provides an efficient, fast and reliable means for your vertical transportation needs.

This equipment is strictly meant only for the transportation of goods and elaborate warning signages are provided at each access point. Moreover, since no controls are present inside a carriage, operating the equipment from inside the carriage is not possible for an individual and is the most effective deterrent for misuse.

LEVA Quadro

UM 4-Post Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors consist of a tubular steel structure with 4 load bearing beams for support and are designed for loads above 2000 kgs. Or for large carriage sizes.

UM 4 Post VRCs can be used with same side entry-exit, opposite side entry-exits or 90 degree entry-exit options.

LEVA Auto

LEVA Automated VRC is our premium offering and our company pioneered the use of automation in VRCs.

Fully Automated VRC is designed to limit human-machine interactions and thereby ensure additional safety in the work environment.

Fully automated VRCs can be designed in identical configurations to those of LEVA Duo and LEVA Quaddro variants.

Fully automated VRCs can be integrated with supplementary conveying and sorting systems. The control circuit and operational program can be customized to suit individual applications. Strategically placed sensors ensure a worry-free operation. Fully automated systems give high operational efficiency by optimizing human interaction with the equipment.

This equipment is strictly designed for the transportation of goods only. Safety guards, rails and interlocks are provided at potentially hazardous locations to prevent misuse and hazards.

SPIROTRAC (SPIRAL GRAVITY CHUTE)

Spiral gravity chute as the name suggests is a series of rollers placed along a downward helical path that allow carton boxes or similar cargo to be sent from multiple floors to the ground floor.

Ideal for applications requiring high frequency material transfer of goods from upper floors.

Its compact helical design ensures optimum space utilization.

VITA (GRAVITY CHUTE)

A Gravity Chute is a “Low Cost, Zero Power” equipment for transporting packaged goods i.e. carton boxes not weighing more than 35-40 kgs from various levels of the storage system to the ground level.

An application that does not demand a metered flow of goods to the outward staging area and where the material configuration is within a very closed range.

As the floor space requirements vary with each application, we request you to consult with our engineers before making any civil modifications.

Product Features

Access Doors

Access doors are standard part in all VRCs. Access doors are interlocked with VRC operation for human and machine safety ie. VRC will not operate if any of the access doors are open and vice-versa. We provide a range of access doors such as collapsible type doors, collapsible type with bellows for added safety, mechanized rolling shutters, vertical bi-parting doors and telescopic sliding doors. Selection of doors is based upon the VRC configuration, site conditions and feasibility.

Door Locks

Door locks are a standard feature at every access doors. Door locks ensure human and machine safety during VRC operation.

Guards and Rails

Guards and railings are present at all essential positions to ensure human and machine safety.

Loading Ramps

We provide loading ramps for VRCs wherever it is not feasible to provide a civil pit. Ramps typically have a gradient of 1:10, but may differ as per site conditions.

Deck-Locks

Deck-Locks are an optional feature at an additional cost which provides added safety and are recommended in case VRC operation involves heavy MHE entry into the VRC carriage during loading and unloading operations

Safety Cladding and Sheeting

VRCs have safety cladding in the form of perforated or plain sheets that are designed to enhance human safety during VRC operation.
